Hyderabad 11^th July 2014:TJAC called for a Telangana Bandh on 12^th July to Protest the passage of the Polavaram Bill in the lok sabha today.TJAC Chairman Kodandaram urged the people to standby the Bandh and make it a success to register their protest before the Union Government.Lok Sabha has passed the Bill amid protests from TRS,T Congress,Chhattisgarh,Odisha MPs protesting strongly against the bill.The Bill is aimed at merging 205 Villages of seven Mandals of Khammam District of Telangana in to A.P which are prone to Submerge in the Polavaram Project area.TRS,CPI,CPM extended their support for the bandh.
