E-Verification of Passport in Bangalore

2015: To facilitate easy and quick issue of Passports to the applicants,Home
Ministry is planning to implement e-verification method soon Pan
India.e-verification will be done basing on Crime and Criminal Tracking Network
System (CCTN) information from the concern police station and Aadhar.As a pilot
project the system will be launched in Bangalore first in the month of November
this year as Karnataka state has large police data base of CCTN.
